Savage Precision Fabrication, Inc. has been proudly serving their clients and staff for over 34 years in manufacturing and fabrication. The owner and founder, W. T. Gardner, began this corporation in his 400 square-foot garage working nights and weekends while continuing to work 40+ hours a week as a floor supervisor for Texas Instruments.
His idea of creating a company that would exceed the expectation of clients in several industries including telecommunications, aerospace and military/defense while staying loyal to his team members, helped motivate him for almost two years of 14+ hour days, seven days a week before going out on his own.
When the time was right to officially go full time in his own company, W. T. moved Savage Precision Fabrication, Inc. from his garage into a small facility in Garland in 1975, and his wife JoAnn joined him. It was only a matter of two months before they out grew that space and moved again to a larger facility in Garland and registered as a Minority Owned Business with the Small Business Administration (SBA) as Native American.
They would remain in Garland until 1996 and would again outgrow this facility creating a major move to Wylie to a much larger facility. Their first facility in Wylie was 42,000 square feet and 12 years later in December 2008 they finished building their 60,000 square foot facility at 1415 Martinez Lane, Wylie, Texas. The team of 43+ staff members proudly walked into the newly built facility in early January 2009.
Together, W. T. and JoAnn have grown Savage Precision Fabrication, Inc. from a sole proprietorship to a four-time nationally recognized Small Business of the Year by the SBA. They have been honored numerous times as a Minority Owned Business by their customers and have created a company that proudly honors tradition, while distinctively impacting the future.
